Can you measure a roof without getting on it?

Yes. RoofMetric measures a roof from overhead satellite imagery in about two minutes: you find the property by address, trace or auto-detect the roof facets, and the app returns squares, pitch, ridge, hip, valley and eave lengths. On an iPhone with LiDAR you can also scan and measure on site in AR when the imagery is out of date or the roof is new construction.

Can I quote a job before I drive out to it?

For most exterior work, yes. You find the property by address, take the measurements you need off current satellite imagery, and price them against your own price book, so a rough number can go out the same afternoon the call comes in. Interior and remodel work still needs a walkthrough, and the estimate you build on site uses the same price book and the same signing flow.

Can you measure a gutter run without a ladder?

Everything runs in a browser on any device, and there are native apps on the App Store and Google Play that add AR measuring, room scanning, camera photo reports and push notifications. iPhone uses LiDAR, Android uses ARCore.
